Flew into JFK one Friday afternoon to visit our daughter in the East Village and wanted to start off with drinks and appetizers. Superbueno was a great choice. Made a reservation for 3 and were seated quickly after we arrived. Table was small but large enough for our drinks and apps. VERY interesting selection of drinks -- I think we had a couple each -- and we really enjoyed our guac and chips and the flautas. ¡Supersabor! We'll be back...

Back at Superbueno for the third time, and it consistently delivers. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation and were seated promptly. Our trio ordered the Vodka y Soda, Green Mango Martini, and Fresca Tonic - all expertly crafted and delicious. Superbueno has become my go-to spot for top-notch cocktails. Highly recommended.

Overall rating: 4.3 I went here on my birthday without a reservation with 2 friends after a play. Thank you to the hostess for being able to squeeze us in. This is a beautiful date spot, can't say I have the same opinion for friends catching up. The music is very loud & at times I thought I was at a club. I can definitely see this as a Friday night late spot, but there was very little room for mingling. For food we got the Birria Grilled cheese & Nacho's Nacho. Both were good and initially thought as overpriced, the portion size makes up for it. This is definitely more of a 20s vibes, not sure if I've outgrown this type of spot.

Happy hour on a Friday evening was great! Walked in Friday ~5pm and was seated immediately. We really enjoyed the drinks and the lively casual atmosphere here! Agree with the other reviewers that it is on the louder side here, as this space was smaller than I imagined. Pricing was a bit high for a "happy hour" menu: 4.5/5 Fresca Tonic - my favorite drink of the night! 4.5/5 Vodka y Soda 4/5 Roasted Corn Sour 4/6 Guac and Chips 3/5 Happy Hour Tacos -- these were nothing to write home about for us, a bit underseasoned and lack of toppings would make me very likely to choose a different spot for tacos.

When a bar hits the top 50 best in the world you've got to try it out! My husband and I ordered 5 cocktails and the guacamole to see what the hype was about...and we were pretty pleased! But agreed the pricing was a bit high. Roasted Corn Sour - I really really enjoyed this one. It tasted unique, fit the restaurant, looked pretty, and was incredibly well balanced. 5/5 Mushroom margarita - I will say I enjoyed the drink, and it did taste like a margarita, but I didn't get the mushroom from it. 3/5 Salted Plum & Tamarind Milk Punch - Definitely order this one!! A delicious fruity but not too sweet and not too creamy drink was unique and was both my husband and I's favorite! 5/5 Vodka Y Soda - When you see a $20.50 vodka soda you're going to cringe, but I promise the flavors are bright and the guava is bursting with a unique flavor. 5/5 Green Mango Martini - This drink was probably our least favorite. It didn't much resemble fruit or marg, and just wasn't for me. Not sure the tincture on top added anything special either. 2/5 Overall due to the unique flavors and ingredients you may not find elsewhere.. I definitely think you should check it out and see what you think!

I loved Superbueno. It's not quite what you would expect of a fancy cocktail bar as it has a much more casual vibe, the tables are small, the room comfortable. However, every dish on the menu we tried was stellar, and the drinks were consistently fantastic. We had a server who was incredibly attentive, helped make recommendations, and when we had tried all but two drinks on themenu, brought us a taste of the drinks complimentary so that we could try everything on the menu without having had too much. Every drink was super inventive, and tasty, some being stronger than others. My favorite was the mushroom margarita, but truly everything was good. Teh roasted corn sour was also quite special. I heard the Fresca Tonic is the most popular, and it's good, but I think the two others i liked better. Every dish from the caesar salad to the tacos was good. The real winner though were the Carne Asado fries. Can't go wrong with some steak on fries, especially a tasty skirt steak! I'll be coming back, you should too! If you're going just for a beer and guac though maybe go somewhere else.

Pricey, but so fun. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** Attentive and fun staff who set a great atmosphere and also come by often with water refills. We were lucky bc we didn't have a reservation but only had to wait outside for about 5 minutes. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** Super fun, club-like interior. Not the best for holding a conversation, but perfect for an after-dinner cocktail (or two). **Price & portion, 3/5** Cocktails here are steep and are all about $20; the food options are also pricey for the small portion size, but everything is delicious. **Taste, 4.5/5** If you prefer a sweeter and lighter cocktail like me, definitely order the guava vodka soda. It's tropical, refreshing, and perfectly fruity. The roasted corn cocktail was a bit too alcohol-forward for me and wasn't my favorite, and the green mango cocktail was very strong and not for me either, but don't hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations based on your personal preferences!

What a fun crew!!! My friend and I sat at the bar and had a good time. They swing the lights above you, which is fun haha. The bartenders were all so nice, we chatted a bit with ours. We ended up trying all their specialty cocktails. Pictured here are the roasted corn sour and the mushroom margarita. But as I said, we also tried the green mango martini and the mole Negroni (sorry I didn't take these pictures). My favorites were the green mango martini and the mushroom margarita. So unique, so balanced. The mushroom margarita is TOO good. Like...juice. It's dangerous. We didn't even eat, we had reservations elsewhere and were just stopping by for a drink. Worth the stop! So glad we checked it out.
